Hibbett Retail, Inc. in Kimball, Tennessee is seeking a Manager in Training (hourly, non-exempt) who reports to the Store Manager.

This role supports daily store operations, learns all product areas, and promotes every sale and promotion to create a standout customer experience. The manager-in-training helps with inventory, scheduling, merchandising, and administrative duties, and assumes Store Manager responsibilities in their absence.

Qualifications

• Experience in a retail environment, footwear/apparel preferred.
• 1-3 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with passion for customer service and selling.

Responsabilités

• Assist Store Manager in controlling store assets.
• Establish action plans for selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering and scheduling.
• Assume store responsibility in the Store Manager's absence.
• Provide guidance to employees and customers in all departments.
• Ensure profitability by monitoring inventory, sales and expenses.
• Direct staff to meet department responsibilities and standards.
• Promote and sell services and merchandise.
• Protect company assets and information through internal controls.
