The Manager in Training works to promote promotions, provide exceptional service, supervise during the Store Manager’s absence, and ensure adherence to policies while protecting store assets and inventories.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, preferably footwear and athletic apparel.
• 1-3 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to assist in managing a team and meet goals.
• Self-starter with initiative.
• Strong attention to detail with multi-tasking.
• Team-player with passion for outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager with asset control and store operations.
• Establish action plans for departments to achieve store goals.
• Cover store operations in the Store Manager's absence.
• Provide guidance to employees and customers in all departments.
• Monitor inventory, sales, and expenses to ensure profitability.
• Direct staff to meet department standards and responsibilities.
• Keep Store Manager informed about inventory movement and customer trends.
• Deliver extraordinary customer service and promote merchandise and services.
• Uphold all store policies and procedures and protect company assets.
