Job summary

Hibbett, Inc. in Memphis, TN is seeking a Manager in Training in our Operations department.

This role supports the Store Manager with daily store functions, customer service, and selling of merchandise while learning all department responsibilities. You will stand in for the Store Manager when needed and help supervise team members during peak periods, ensuring excellent service and adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail operations preferred.
• 1-3 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Team leadership capabilities in absence of supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager with selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling.
• Supervise staff in the Store Manager's absence.
• Provide knowledge and guidance to employees and customers in all departments.
• Ensure profitability by monitoring inventory, sales, and expenses.
• Promote and sell services and merchandise.
• Deliver extraordinary customer service per manuals.
