America's Thrift Stores is seeking a Retail Manager to lead daily store operations, develop the team, and ensure a positive shopping experience. You will drive sales, manage inventory, merchandising, and customer service while upholding company values and supporting the Manager III.

You will recruit, train, coach, and evaluate staff, oversee cash handling, and ensure compliance with safety and policies. This role emphasizes community engagement and operational excellence in a fast-paced retail

Formación

• 3+ years of experience in retail management or operations.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with POS systems and Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsabilidades

• Recruit, hire, train, and develop store team members.
• Provide coaching and performance evaluations.
• Foster a positive, inclusive work environment.
• Lead by example in customer service and training.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints.
• Build relationships with customers and local community.
• Support sales targets through merchandising and upselling.
• Oversee daily store operations, opening/closing, cleanliness.
• Manage inventory control, shrinkage, and loss prevention.
• Ensure cash handling accuracy and financial reporting.
• Enforce policies and safety regulations; conduct audits.
• Collaborate with People & Culture and Asset Protection.
• Support donation processing and donor engagement.
• Work with Manager III to enhance performance.
• Other duties as assigned.
