Job summary

America’s Thrift Stores is seeking a Retail Supervisor to manage daily front-end operations and the sales floor. You will ensure great customer service, maintain merchandise standards, and coach team members to meet performance goals.

The role requires flexibility for a rotating schedule, including mid-shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays. A strong emphasis is placed on inventory control and loss prevention to protect assets.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ supervisory/leadership experience in retail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in basic mathematics and computer literacy.
• Ability to work a rotating schedule (mid-shifts, evenings, weekends, holidays).
• Background check, motor vehicle check, and drug screen required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise departmental team members.
• Assist with recruiting, selecting, training, and onboarding.
• Provide coaching and recognition to team members.
• Schedule staff according to labor needs.
• Manage inventory tracking and stock levels.
• Oversee cash register operations and cash handling.
• Support store leadership with promotions and customer service.
