Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Assistant Manager Trainee Program is an accelerated, entry-level path designed to prepare you for Store Management in 18–24 months. You’ll work with store leadership to run a million-dollar operation and learn all aspects of the business, including sales to large commercial accounts.

Upon completion, a career path to Assistant Store Manager awaits, with promotion within a promote-from-within culture and a bonus opportunity based on performance.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must read, write, and communicate in English.
• Must read, write, read and communicate in Spanish.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
• Must have at least a High School diploma or GED.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 70 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Complete training aligned with the program.
• Support strategies to increase sales and profitability.
• Ensure high customer satisfaction through excellent service.
• Build knowledge of all products to provide effective recommendations.
• Develop positive relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
• Complete store administration tasks.
• Ensure compliance with safety, loss prevention and security policies.
• Maintain store condition and visual merchandising standards.
