Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Assistant Manager Trainee Program is an accelerated, entry-level path designed to prepare you for a Store Management role in 18-24 months. You will train in a 6-8 week core program and progress to an Assistant Store Manager upon successful completion.

The role involves leading a million-dollar store, managing teams, and driving sales to commercial customers in a 44-hour week schedule. As you advance, you will learn operations, client relations, and strategic store

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
• Must have a High School diploma or GED.
• Lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Complete training consistent with established program.
• Support business strategies to increase sales and profitability.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
• Build and maintain knowledge of all products to advise customers.
• Build positive relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
• Complete store administration.
• Ensure compliance with safety, loss prevention, and security.
• Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards.
• Support employee training, development, performance management, and corrective action.
• Respond to and resolve customer and employee complaints.
• Partner with Store Manager to make outside sales calls to increase market share.
