Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Badging Officer to oversee a Retail Mall located in Manhattan. The role involves processing security and access permissions, activating/deactivating photo IDs, and monitoring CCTV as part of post orders.

Daily duties include issuing badges, maintaining logs, and ensuring site credential compliance. Qualifications include a high school diploma, at least six months in security, strong communications, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of six (6) months of prior security experience, preferably with access credentialing.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications.
• Able to assess and evaluate situations effectively.
• Identify critical issues quickly and accurately.
• Research, investigate, compile information.
• Write informatively, clearly, and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all persons and vehicles have the proper credentials to enter the site.
• Perform customer service by interacting with internal and external clients and assisting in finding resolutions of issues or concerns.
• Process badges and maintain logs regarding issuance, returns and tracking of actions.
• Monitor daily activities to ensure policy compliance.
• Retain and maintain access control documents; audit access control records.
• Record and report incidents to Site Supervisor or Manager.
• Share pass-down information with officers on shift.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary per Post Orders.
