Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer in New York, NY to safeguard a commercial building and provide excellent customer service. You will maintain a visible security presence, perform access control, and respond to incidents per site procedures.

The role offers a flexible schedule with opportunities to advance and access to Allied Universal’s training and tools. You will work with a professional team focused on safety and service in a dynamic setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and patrons by following site-specific security procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the property to deter incidents and identify unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents and concerns in a calm, professional manner and escalate as needed.
• Monitor access points and support visitor, vendor, and delivery activities per protocols.
• Document patrols and incidents accurately and communicate to site leadership.
