Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Badge Issuance Coordinator for its Totowa, NJ location. This part-time role focuses on access control, badge issuance, and visitor management at a financial institution site.

The position requires at least 1 year of security experience, strong customer service skills, and the ability to operate a computer or tablet. Work shifts include days and nights with a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience required.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• State/city security license preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorizations, issue and recover access credentials, maintain records.
• Respond to access-control alarms and incidents in a calm, professional manner and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas and perimeters to identify unauthorized access and concerns.
• Communicate professionally and document observations and access-control activity.
