Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Badging Officer to oversee a Retail Mall location in Manhattan. The role involves processing security and access permissions, activating or deactivating photo IDs, and using client software to manage access control, CCTV, and alarm programming.

Responsibilities include badge issuance, log maintenance, site policy compliance, incident reporting, and coordinating with the Site Supervisor and security team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of six (6) months of prior security experience, preferably with access credentialing.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications.
• Able to assess and evaluate situations effectively.
• Identify critical issues quickly and accurately.
• Research, investigate, compile information.
• Write informatively, clearly, and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all persons and vehicles have the proper credentials to enter the site.
• Provide customer service by assisting clients and resolving issues.
• Process badges and maintain logs for issuance, return, and tracking.
• Monitor daily activities to ensure policy compliance.
• Retain and audit access control documents.
• Record and report incidents to the Site Supervisor or Security Manager.
• Share pass-down information with officers on shift.
• Make emergency notifications per post orders.
