Job summary

ShopRite of Milford is hiring for a Store Detective position. The role focuses on delivering a great customer experience while maintaining a safe store environment and protecting company assets through theft detection and CCTV surveillance.

The ideal candidate will be able to read and understand English, stand or walk for long periods, and lift up to 50 lbs as needed, with a commitment to safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum reading, writing, and spoken English required.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Detect and apprehend theft in a professional manner following policy and law.
• Utilize loss prevention tools to identify and minimize loss.
• Maintain security of store assets and assist in special investigations.
• Provide prompt, courteous service to customers and greet all customers.
