Job summary

Security Industry Specialists, Inc. is seeking a Loss Prevention Specialist to deter theft and assist with arrests as needed. You will help maintain a safe shopping environment and report incidents to support retail operations.

The role requires surveillance, asset recovery, and adherence to law and client policies. It also offers growth in a dynamic security team with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Two plus years loss prevention experience.
• Proficient in PC and iOS hardware and software.
• General operating knowledge of retail security camera equipment and CCTV.
• Maintain state guard certification and client certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct undercover surveillance to detect and apprehend shoplifters.
• Recover asset and/or make safe apprehensions.
• Maintain compliance with law and company policies on apprehensions, search and seizure, and evidence.
• Prepare incident reports related to theft, recoveries and activities.
• Testify in court concerning criminal or civil cases.
• Perform other duties as required.
