Job summary

Security Industry Specialists, Inc. in Dallas, TX is seeking a Loss Prevention Specialist to deter theft and support retail operations. This full-time role reports to the Regional Security Retail Manager and offers a path for growth within a dynamic security team.

The position requires 2+ years in loss prevention, CCTV knowledge, and state guard certification. You will work shifts across the week with opportunities for overtime and comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, 401k,

Qualifications

• Two+ years loss prevention experience.
• Proficient in PC and iOS hardware and software.
• General operating knowledge of retail security camera equipment and CCTV.
• Complete and maintain state guard certification as prescribed by state law; employer covers fees unless noted otherwise.
• Dependable team player with strong customer service and professionalism.
• Flexible to work any shift Mon-Sun and willing to overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct undercover surveillance to detect and apprehend shoplifters.
• Recover assets and/or make safe apprehensions.
• Maintain compliance with laws and company policies on apprehensions, search and seizure, and evidence handling.
• Prepare incident reports for theft, recoveries, and other activities as assigned.
• Testify in court concerning criminal or civil cases.
• Perform other related duties as required.
