Job summary

Jobtailor in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Store Loss Prevention Associate to support safety programs, deter theft, and provide courteous service to customers.

You will work with store management, conduct apprehensions per policy, participate in investigations, manage evidence, and help shrink reduction while complying with labor laws.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily tasks required for Store Loss Prevention and safety programs
• Maintain positive relationships with Store Management
• Conduct apprehensions within established policies and guidelines
• Communicate with store Associates on damage and shrink initiatives
• Identify and resolve internal and external theft
• Adhere to established shoplifter guidelines and policies
• Provide timely, courteous, and knowledgeable service to customers
• Promote a culture of honesty and integrity and maintain confidentiality
• Observe, apprehend, and/or deter acts of dishonesty from outside sources
• Participate in investigations and surveillance as assigned
• Ensure apprehensions are consistent with store theft activity
• Complete and distribute paperwork accurately and promptly
• Maintain appropriate evidence and demonstrate understanding of law enforcement procedures
• Professionally participate in legal activities as needed, such as police calls
• Coordinate and complete shrink-related activities with Store Management
• Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures
• Support store shrink reduction goals and programs
• Encourage Associate use of shrink reduction resources
• Promote safety awareness and support a safe environment
