Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Security/Loss Prevention Associate to protect assets at our Kentucky facility. You will monitor cameras, patrol areas, conduct hazard inspections, and enforce security policies to ensure a safe environment.

Requirements include 1 year of security experience, MVR report passing, strong communication skills, and the ability to work flexible shifts either independently or as part of a team. Pre-employment drug test may be required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of security or loss prevention experience.
• MVR report must be passing (required).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform security and loss prevention functions within the facility to reduce shrink and protect company assets
• Enforce security and loss prevention policies and procedures
• Patrol building areas by foot and vehicle as required
• Monitor security cameras
• Conduct daily physical hazard inspections
• Defuse disturbances and escort individuals from the property when necessary
• Conduct initial investigation reports and gather evidence as directed by security leadership
• Conduct exterior safety hazard and security audits
• Complete security incident reports in collaboration with security leadership
• Maintain a safe work environment

• Availability to work flexible shifts, including days, nights and/or weekends
• 1 year of security or loss prevention experience
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present clean, organized and thorough information and data appropriate for intended audience
• Ability to work well with minimal supervision or in a team environment
• Ability to stand, sit or walk for long periods of time
• Ability to tolerate weather elements, including heat, cold, rain, snow and wind
• May be required to pass a pre-employment drug test after receiving a conditional offer
