Job summary

Jobtailor in Houston, TX is seeking a Security and Loss Prevention Associate to perform security and loss prevention functions within the facility to reduce shrink and protect company assets. You will patrol the premises, monitor cameras, and enforce security policies while maintaining a safe workplace.

This role requires 1 year of experience, a valid driver’s license, flexible shifts including weekends, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• 1 year of security or loss prevention experience.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present clean, organized and thorough information and data appropriate for intended audience.
• Self-motivation to work well with minimal supervision or in a team environment.
• Ability to stand, sit or walk for long periods of time and tolerate weather elements, including heat, cold, rain, snow and wind.
• Conditional offer recipients may be required to pass a pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Defuse disturbances and escort individuals from the property when necessary
• Conduct initial investigations and gather evidence as directed by security leadership
• Conduct exterior safety hazard and security audits
• Complete incident reports in collaboration with security leadership
• Maintain a safe work environment
• Work Saturday through Tuesday, 12:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
