Job summary

Buckle in New Orleans, LA is seeking a Management Trainee to grow into leadership by engaging guests, driving sales, and mastering store operations.

You will work closely with the Store Manager to develop leadership, merchandising, and recruiting skills, with responsibilities that include training teammates and potentially acting as Store Manager in their absence. This is a full-time, on-site role with a clear path to store leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
• 1–3 months related retail experience and/or training.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Sell and service Guests to drive personal and store sales while delivering legendary service.
• Recruit, train and develop Teammates to meet Buckle standards and performance goals.
• Create and maintain visual displays following Buckle guidelines.
• Manage operations including scheduling, opening/closing procedures, and loss prevention.
• Prepare to be Store Manager by supervising teammates and leading during manager absence.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and shoppable store environment and provide leadership when leadership is absent.
