Job summary

Buckle in DeKalb, IL seeks a Management Trainee to help deliver an enjoyable shopping experience and lead sales, merchandising, and store operations. You will work with the Store Manager to build leadership, recruiting and sales skills, with potential to assume Store Manager responsibilities in their absence.

The role includes a structured Trainee program, on-the-ground leadership development, and a path toward permanent management with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from four-year college preferred; or 1–3 months related retail experience and/or training; or equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill our mission: create the most enjoyable shopping experience for Guests.
• Perform sales, merchandising and operational tasks (cashier, display, pulls, register procedures, cleaning).
• Work with Store Manager to develop sales, recruiting and leadership skills to become Store Manager.
• Share responsibility for training and motivating Teammates and act as Store Manager in their absence.
