Job summary

Buckle is seeking an Assistant in Training and Assistant Manager to support daily sales, merchandising and operational tasks in a retail environment. You will work with the Store Manager and Leadership Team to recruit and train Teammates and step in for the Manager when needed.

The role emphasizes high-level guest service, product knowledge, coaching, and leadership across all store operations, with a focus on team development and delivering Buckle’s service standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related retail experience.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills; ability to train Teammates and lead a team.
• Excellent guest service, communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Sell and service Guests, maintain store presentation and merchandising standards.
• Assist Store Manager with recruitment, training and development of Teammates.
• Support store operations, scheduling, and loss prevention practices.
• Lead and demonstrate Buckle’s customer service standards and product knowledge.
