Job summary

Citi Trends is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, lead a team, and assist with staffing efforts. Partnering closely with the Store Manager, you will help drive sales performance, maintain operational excellence, and support hiring, onboarding, and development of store associates.

You will supervise associates in sales, inventory control, and customer service; help with recruiting and training; ensure compliance with company policies; and uphold merchandising

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–4 years of experience as an Assistant Manager or similar retail leadership role.
• 3–5 years of overall retail experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and people leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations to ensure sales goals, customer experience standards, and operational expectations are met.
• Monitor sales activity and guide associates to deliver excellent customer service.
• Assist with inventory control, inventory transactions, and shrink prevention efforts.
• Ensure compliance with Citi Trends policies, procedures, and operational standards.
• Perform additional duties to support store operations and business needs.
