Job summary

The Theodore Roosevelt Medora Foundation (TRMF) seeks a Lead Trolley Driver for the summer season in Medora, North Dakota. The role runs from June through mid-September, driving a trolley on designated routes and delivering outstanding customer service while leading the driver team.

Responsibilities include safety, scheduling coordination, driver training, and maintenance coordination, all in an outdoor, public-facing environment. CDL is required and experience managing a small team is preferred.

Qualifications

• CDL with Passenger Endorsement (Class B or C) required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience scheduling shifts for multiple workers and leading a small team.
• Must be 25 years of age or older.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate a trolley vehicle along assigned routes ensuring safety and adherence to schedules.
• Interact courteously with passengers and assist as needed.
• Maintain passenger safety during boarding and alighting.
• Coordinate weekly driver schedules to meet service times and dates.
• Serve as main contact for drivers and management on trolley questions.
• Set service standards and train drivers on routes and procedures.
• Coordinate routine maintenance with the Maintenance Department.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report issues promptly.
• Keep vehicle interiors clean and orderly.
• Follow traffic laws and TRMF policies.
