Job summary

Biltmore is seeking a Retail Lead Associate in Asheville to deliver exceptional guest service, operate POS systems, and drive sales with up-selling and cross-selling. You will support supervisors in daily shop operations, assist with opening/closing duties, and help maintain shop inventory.

The role requires at least 1 year in guest service, strong communication, and the ability to learn Biltmore products and processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma strongly preferred; on-the-job training provided.
• At least 1 year of related guest service experience; equivalent education/experience considered.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills; ability to engage with guests.
• Ability to learn Biltmore products and operations quickly.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional guest service and ensure total guest satisfaction with estate shopping experiences.
• Develop proficiency in all POS register operations.
• Maintain sales focus with up- and cross-selling emphasis.
• Monitor and replenish merchandise levels and assist with inventory control.
• Assist with floor coverage, radio communications, and POS support.
• Serve as Authorized Approver for merchandise returns and voids as needed.
• Assist with opening/closing duties and daily end-of-day reports.
• Provide on-the-job training for new hires and guide staff as needed.
