Job summary

Biltmore Estate is seeking a Retail Supervisor to oversee staff performance, scheduling, and daily floor operations while ensuring world-class guest service. You will help with inventory, ordering, and maintaining a clean, presentable shop.

Evening, weekends, and holidays are required. Ideal candidates have 2+ years of progressive retail management experience in upscale settings, strong leadership and communication skills, and proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; some college preferred.
• 2+ years retail management; 3 years in upscale setting preferred.
• Deliver world-class guest service and lead teams.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proactive, judgment, problem-solving, and multitasking.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guest service standards and on-brand experience.
• Motivate staff through praise and example.
• Maintain product knowledge and merchandise availability.
• Manage opening and closing procedures.
• Oversee shop cleanliness and organization.
• Staffing to move guests efficiently.
• Assist with hiring, coaching, and training.
• Handle escalated guest service issues.
