Job summary

Dollar General Corporation seeks a Lead Sales Associate to maintain a clean, organized store with a customer-first focus. You will assist customers, operate the register, stock and recover merchandise, and protect assets.

You may lead in the absence of store management and perform related duties as assigned. Responsibilities include greeting customers, processing payments, stocking displays, and ensuring safety and planogram compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; six months of supervisory or related experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow planograms and merchandise presentation guides.
• Strong cash handling and math calculation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and process payments, bag merchandise, and assist customers.
• Stock merchandise, restock and rotate on shelves, and build displays.
• Clean store, manage trash, dust and mop, and maintain restroom and stockroom.
• Assist in planogram implementation and store setup.
• Open and close the store under Store Manager direction.
• Perform duties in absence of Store Manager/Assistant Store Manager.
