Job summary

Dollar General Corporation seeks a Lead Sales Associate to maintain a clean, organized store with a customer-first focus. You will assist customers, operate the cash register, stock shelves, and help implement planograms under the Store Manager’s direction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; six months supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow planograms and merchandise presentation guides.
• Basic math including percentages and cash handling procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner; total purchases, collect payment, and bag merchandise.
• Stock merchandise; restock, rotate on shelves and build displays.
• Clean store; handle trash and maintain restrooms and stockroom.
• Assist in implementation and maintenance of planograms.
• Open and close the store under store manager direction.
• Perform duties in absence of Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.
