Job summary

Hibbett I City Gear in Las Vegas, NV is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in daily operations and customer service. The role requires knowledge of product areas, leadership in the absence of the Store Manager, and adherence to policies and visual manuals.

You will help with merchandising, scheduling, and staff development while ensuring excellent customer service and store profitability.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, preferably footwear/athletic apparel.
• 1–3 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to supervise and train staff when needed.
• Detail-oriented and customer-service focused.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in controlling store assets.
• Collaborate on action plans for selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, scheduling.
• Cover store duties in the Store Manager's absence.
• Participate in recruiting, training, and evaluation of staff.
• Provide knowledge and guidance to employees and customers.
• Monitor inventory, sales, and expenses to protect profitability.
• Direct staff to meet department standards.
• Maintain excellent customer service per manuals.
• Promote and sell services and merchandise.
