Job summary

EssilorLuxottica in the United States seeks a Retail Lab Operations Specialist to bolster manufacturing quality, safety, and technical excellence across our retail labs. You will coordinate testing, validation, and continuous improvement initiatives, partnering with Procurement, Operations, Training, EHS, and field teams to ensure in-store readiness.

Qualifications

• 4 years' experience in optical retail, quality manufacturing, and lab operations.
• Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical and critical thinking.
• Customer-focused mindset with effective issue resolution.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision.
• Effective communication skills and collaboration across diverse teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Maintain understanding of retail manufacturing operations, products, processes, equipment, and testing procedures.
• Manage material supplies and equipment to ensure availability.
• Support testing and validation of lab equipment, lenses, and frames for in-store readiness.
• Perform routine maintenance and upkeep of test and process equipment.
• Prepare and maintain technical reports, logs, and data records.
• Analyze data to identify trends and support decisions.
• Support SOPs and documentation.
• Assist training programs and maintain job aids and resources.
• Support field testing and validation activities.
