Job summary

EssilorLuxottica is seeking a hands-on Lab Quality & Operations support role in our Indianapolis-area manufacturing lab. The position focuses on ensuring production accuracy, process compliance, and timely issue resolution by monitoring workflow, reviewing data, and supporting corrective actions with leadership.

The role collaborates with production, quality and leadership teams to maintain standards, improve consistency, and drive overall lab performance while following established procedures

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving.
• Willingness to wear PPE and follow policies.
• Effective communication across teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform real-time quality checks and correct issues on in-process orders.
• Investigate breakages and defects, report findings for improvement actions.
• Own resolution of highly-broken jobs with proper documentation.
• Analyze lab reports to identify at-risk orders and correct data or specs.
• Escalate quality issues and ensure they are routed to the correct dept.
