Job summary

EssilorLuxottica in Watsonville, CA is seeking a hands-on Lab Quality/Operations support specialist to ensure production accuracy, process compliance, and timely issue resolution. You will monitor workflow, analyze quality data, and drive improvements alongside production, quality, and leadership teams.

You will perform real-time quality checks, investigate defects, and support root cause analysis on the floor, while communicating findings to leadership to drive corrective actions.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment with PPE.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform real-time quality checks and correct quality issues on in-process orders.
• Investigate breakages and cosmetic/optical defects and report findings for corrective action.
• Own resolution of jobs with multiple breakages and ensure proper documentation.
• Analyze lab-level reports (Optifacts, DVI, Spotfire) to flag at-risk orders.
• Coordinate with CS/OE/Sales to communicate quality-driven issues and ensure resolution.
