Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Mississippi LLC in Greenville, MS is seeking a part-time Retail Associate to deliver friendly customer service, assist with merchandise selection, and complete sales transactions using the POS system.

You will support store operations by restocking, maintaining clean aisles, and assisting with opening/closing tasks as needed, while upholding company standards and delivering a positive shopping experience for every customer.

Qualifications

• Education: Prefer completion of high school or equivalent.
• Experience: Prefer management experience in retail, grocery or drug store environments.
• Able to greet customers and assist with merchandise selection.

Responsibilities

• Greets, assists and thanks customers in a positive, approachable manner.
• Handles customer inquiries and resolves concerns.
• Builds basket size through suggestive selling.
• Maintains a clean, well-stocked store for customers.
• Accurately handles customer funds and processes transactions using the POS system.
• Assists in unloading merchandise and stocking shelves.
• Opens/closes store in absence of management, as needed.
