Job summary

BevMo! by Gopuff is hiring a Key Holder in Roseville, CA to open and close the store and assist during busy periods. You will train new employees, ensure excellent customer service, and manage cash handling with accurate transactions.

The role requires 1+ year leadership in retail or similar, ability to lift up to 49 pounds, and flexible scheduling including nights and weekends. We offer benefits and a team-focused environment at a growing instant commerce company.

Qualifications

• 1+ years leadership experience in retail, grocery, military, restaurant or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work with fluid schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Basic math skills and proficiency in cash handling.
• Team-oriented mentality and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers and informing them of products and services.
• Open the store or close the store as required by shift and assist during high-volume periods.
• Support new employees with training and guidance on store procedures and products.
• Recommend in-house products based on knowledge and customer interests.
• Assist with inventory tasks, restocking, counts, and discrepancy resolution.
• Process cash transactions, open/close tills, count cash, and prepare deposits.
• Operate scanners, cash registers, and other electronics.
• Follow age verification policies and ensure accurate pricing and receipts.
• Handle refunds and exchanges professionally and accurately.
• Monitor store to prevent theft and minimize loss; conduct bag checks as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness across sales floor, stock room, and restrooms.
• Train new employees on procedures, product knowledge, and customer service standards.
