Job summary

Boot Barn in Marshall, TX is seeking a Part-time Key Holder to deliver an exceptional in-store experience and provide leadership to store partners. You will drive sales, share product knowledge, and uphold merchandising standards while managing POS transactions and assisting with store operations.

This role requires 1–2 years of retail sales experience, flexible availability including nights and weekends, and the ability to travel up to 10% as needed.

Qualifications

• 1 to 2 years of retail sales experience.
• Demonstrates leadership, communication, time management and organization skills.
• Availability to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Flexibility with scheduling and willingness to work extended hours when necessary.
• Up to 10% travel to support local stores, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Foster a service and selling culture; exceed expectations to build long-standing customer relationships.
• Become an expert in product categories; communicate features and benefits to customers.
• Maintain and achieve measurable goals (UPT, ADT, add-ons, data capture).
• Be informed of current promotions and advertisements.
• Maintain merchandising standards; assist with floor moves, displays, and housekeeping.
• Process merchandise and monitor replenishment of floor stock.
• Complete all sales transactions accurately at POS with proper cash and media handling.
• Partner with store leadership to develop skills and improve metrics.
• Complete opening and closing procedures and comply with Time and Attendance policy.
