Job summary

Cellular Sales is seeking an IT Field Support Technician to provide primary Tier 1–2 hardware and software support for retail locations. You will handle requests from the National Operations Center, maintain equipment standards, and coordinate with multiple departments to meet service levels.

The role requires a HS diploma and at least 3 years of technology support experience, with on-call, day and weekend shifts and significant travel (30–60%). A valid US driver’s license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer, evaluate, and prioritize service requests from the ticketing system, phone, email, and in person.
• Assist with identifying problems and providing potential resolutions.
• Coordinate with end users on behalf of other departments; follow approved processes to meet SLAs.
• Track issues using the ticketing system and maintain documentation.
• Update and maintain hardware and software standards with PMO and Asset Management.
• Brainstorm with team and SMEs to resolve complex problems; escalate when needed.
• Communicate trends and high-priority issues to the team and leadership.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company software/hardware and procedures.
• Schedule preventative maintenance on company vehicles.
• Escalate and schedule vendor services as necessary.
• Install and troubleshoot WAN/LAN and Cat 6e cabling.
• Manage inventory stockrooms for designated territory.
• Maintain expense records for procurement cards.
