Job summary

Staples is seeking a Technical Analyst I to support retail technology initiatives across the organization. The role coordinates deployments, analyzes requirements, and ensures technology solutions are delivered and maintained.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in IT or a related field.
• 0-2 years of IT support or retail technology experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience maintaining documentation, records, reports, or asset inventories.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate retail technology initiatives including store openings, relocations, remodels, closures, refreshes, and special projects.
• Support deployment planning and implementation activities for retail technology solutions.
• Analyze project requirements, schedules, dependencies, and constraints for successful execution.
• Partner with internal teams, vendors, and service providers to coordinate deployments and support activities.
• Investigate issues, identify root causes, and recommend solutions.
• Support technology lifecycle management, compliance initiatives, and security remediation efforts.
• Maintain deployment documentation, asset records, and implementation plans.
• Monitor project activities, assess risks, and elevate issues as needed for business continuity.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements to boost efficiency.
