Job summary

Boscov's Department Store, LLC is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to operate independently in our busy HR office. You will manage HR functions, recruit, onboard and maintain coworker records, and support benefits and payroll administration in a retail environment.

The role requires strong communication, confidentiality, and the ability to handle multiple HR tasks with accuracy and discretion.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in retail or HR is beneficial.
• Ability to learn HR and store systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage the functions of the Human Resources Office.
• Recruit, interview and select applicants.
• Onboard new hires and complete all necessary paperwork.
• Maintain coworkers' records per guidelines and reporting requirements.
• Plan orientation and training to foster positive attitudes and retention.
• Oversee benefits, compensation, and performance appraisal processes.
• Handle timekeeping and payroll procedures.
• Address employee relations concerns with guidance from Corporate.
• Assume senior staff responsibilities.
