Job summary

Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City seeks a Manager, Retail & Hospitality Services to lead MSK’s high-volume retail and dining operations across Cafeteria, lounges, kiosks, and events. Qualifications

• Experience leading food service, retail, hospitality or related operations.
• Proven track record supervising, training and developing staff.
• Strong budgeting, food-cost management, sales analysis and P&L understanding.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of MSK’s Retail and Hospitality Services areas.
• Recruit, train, coach, evaluate, and develop staff with proper coverage.
• Monitor workflow and drive efficiency with financial discipline.
• Review sales, food costs, production levels, inventory, waste, and performance metrics.
• Oversee menu development, promotions, merchandising, and product evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with MSK policies and health regulations (Joint Commission, HACCP, NY state).
• Lead sanitation, quality-improvement, and regulatory-readiness initiatives.
• Develop business and marketing plans for new retail services and revenue programs.
• Coordinate resources for special events and collaborate with departments.
