Job summary

Quipt Home Medical, Corp. seeks a customer-focused team member to serve as the first point of contact for patients and clinics. You will take orders, answer questions, handle complaints, and troubleshoot problems while maintaining a positive and empathetic attitude.

Responsibilities include demonstrating devices, coordinating with Dispatch for home deliveries, and verifying insurance and physician orders. This role emphasizes accuracy, strong communication and a patient-centered approach.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 6 months of relevant customer service experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
• Customer service orientation and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with computers and strong typing skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and maintain a positive, empathetic and professional attitude during interactions.
• Engage in active listening, confirm information and diffusing upset customers as needed.
• Assist internal and external customers in a professional manner.
• Process service requests and coordinate with Dispatch for prompt delivery.
• Acquire and retain strong product knowledge to inform customers.
• Maintain showroom and inventory in order.
• Verify insurance, medical necessity and physician orders for services.
• Understand Medicare/Medicaid and third-party payor sources.
• Make sales or recommendations to meet client needs when appropriate.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
