Job summary

Dollar Tree in Williamsburg, VA is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a friendly shopping experience. You will assist customers, process transactions at the register, stock shelves, and help unload merchandise.

This part-time role requires strong communication, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a commitment to safety and neat store presentation. Prior retail or customer service experience is preferred, with high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operating documents is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable.
