Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our Bristol, VA team and deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, manage transactions at the register, and help keep the store stocked and clean.

The role requires strong customer service, the ability to lift 30–50 lbs, and good communication. Part-time hours are available, with a focus on friendly, efficient service across the store.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs., frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, bathrooms, floors, and trash disposal.
• Other duties as assigned.
