Job summary

Global Partners LP is hiring a Guest Service Associate to drive a top-notch guest experience and support store-level tasks. You will greet guests, operate the POS, and uphold safety and housekeeping standards.

Qualifications

• Availability to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Ability to work in intermittent temperatures, outdoors or in cooler areas.
• Ability to climb ladders and stairs and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to access all store areas including selling floor, stock and register.
• Duties must be completed in a timely manner.
• Ability to count, read and write to complete required paperwork.
• Ability to support onboarding and training for new hires.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience.
• Adhere to safety, security, quality and store policies and procedures.
• Operate the point of sale per corporate standards and manage cash, lottery, tobacco levels.
• Perform store housekeeping tasks (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash).
• Replenish products and maintain in-stock conditions.
• Communicate guest requests and vendor-related concerns with management.
• Check in external and internal vendors per guidelines.
• Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects as assigned.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
• Minors may ONLY use OSHA approved knives.
