Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Guest Service Associate to deliver top-notch guest experiences and support store operations. The role emphasizes customer care, safe and efficient POS transactions, and active participation in housekeeping and inventory tasks.

Qualifications

Must be available to work flexible hours that may include day, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to perform basic computer functions.
Must have reliable transportation.
Ability to work in intermittent temperatures, i.e., outside, cooler, etc.
Ability to climb ladders & stairs, reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch and lift/carry up to 25 lbs.
Ability to freely access all areas of the store including selling floor, stock area, and register area.

Responsibilities

Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience.
Adhere to safety, security, quality and store operations policies.
Operate the point of sale following corporate standards; manage cash, lottery, tobacco levels.
Complete store housekeeping functions (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash).
Replenish products and supplies to maintain in-stock conditions.
Communicate with management regarding guest requests and vendor concerns.
Check in external and internal vendors per guidelines.
Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects assigned by management.
Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
Minors may ONLY use OSHA approved knives.
