Job summary

Turkey Hill Minit Markets is seeking a high-energy Assistant Manager to join our Lancaster-area leadership team. You will support the Store Manager in delivering a superior guest experience and help develop a strong, motivated team across all store operations.

Responsibilities include coaching staff on guest service, scheduling, and training; driving sales through promotions and merchandising; maintaining cleanliness and safety; and ensuring consistent stock levels.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required; leadership potential in retail or food service preferred.
• Minimum 1 year retail or food experience; must complete Assistant Manager Training.
• Leadership experience in retail or guest service is a plus.
• ServSafe/ Food Safety certification is a plus but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Manages the store team’s Guest Service behaviors with coaching to greet guests warmly and resolve issues.
• Support Store Manager in training, scheduling, coaching, and building a strong team and values.
• Partner with Store Manager to achieve operational excellence and hit sales and promotions targets.
• Help maintain store appearance, coffee station, food service area, and clean bathrooms to standards.
• Assist with quality control, merchandising, safety programs, and inventory levels to stay 100% in-stock.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Store Manager or acting manager when needed.
• Ability to perform essential functions with or without accommodations.
• Scheduling is mainly second shifts; must work nights, weekends, and holidays.
