Job summary

Metropolis Technologies in Nashville, TN, seeks a Head of Growth, Retail to lead the growth strategy for the retail segment. You will shape the long-term vision, own the growth number, and align data-driven insights with partnerships, marketing, and product to expand national accounts and scale our retail footprint.

This on-site role requires four days in the office weekly. Base salary ranges from $200,000 to $230,000 per year, with stock options, healthcare, a 401(k) plan, and bonus

Qualifications

• 15+ years in the retail industry with proven growth leadership.
• Strong background in strategy, business development, partnerships, P&L management.
• Extensive contacts and a network of vertical-specific partners in retail.
• Skilled in financial modeling, and structuring vertical-standard deal terms.
• Data-driven decision-making and market analysis.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams and aligning product strategy.
• Excellent presentation and stakeholder management.
• Experience leveraging AI platforms to accelerate growth and optimize pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy and execution to grow the retail vertical and location base.
• Open and win deals in national accounts within the retail vertical.
• Establish vertical-standard commercial structures and terms.
• Scale the platform by enabling new technology within retail.
• Collaborate with product leaders to translate customer input into PMF.
• Coordinate with product, marketing, sales, and operations on vertical solutions.
• Grow retail marketing, press coverage, and conference presence.
• Develop strategic partnerships with consultants and channel partners.
• Co-lead the unified product and service roadmap for vertical offerings.
