Job summary

Gap is hiring a General Manager in New York to lead store operations, drive a profitable business plan, and deliver a best-in-class customer experience. You will oversee Customer Operations, Merchandising, Product Operations, and talent development to achieve key metrics.

You will coach teams, manage scheduling and budgets, implement SOPs, and promote an inclusive culture while ensuring compliance across all areas of the store.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of retail experience leading others.
• College degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver results and communicate effectively with customers and employees.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes results and collaborates with leadership to drive KPIs.
• Forecasts and schedules to drive profitable sales.
• Manages store budget for daily operations and P&L.
• Builds and develops a high-performing team.
• Coaches and evaluates team performance.
• Leads SOP implementations and brand initiatives.
• Creates an inclusive environment and drives community involvement.
• Ensures compliance standards are met.
