Qualifications

• Three to five years of supervisory experience in a high-volume grocery environment.
• Strong understanding of Profit & Loss, labor cost, budgeting, and margins.
• Proficiency with POS systems and inventory tracking tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee opening and closing procedures and smooth daily store operations.
• Inspect floors, storage areas, and equipment for cleanliness and function.
• Enforce safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
• Work long hours with flexibility (50+ hours/week) including weekends/holidays.
• Stand/walk for extended periods; lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Recruit, hire, train, and supervise store employees across all departments.
• Manage scheduling, payroll hours, and labor budgets; conduct performance reviews.
• Mentor staff and promote a positive work environment to reduce turnover.
• Manage store budget, monitor P&L, control expenses, and analyze sales data.
• Set and exceed sales targets and KPIs; identify growth opportunities.
• Oversee inventory, stock rotation, and product ordering to minimize waste.
• Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and distributors; manage pricing and displays.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve escalated issues; ensure compliance.
