Job summary

Biltmore is seeking a Lead Associate to coordinate daily operations in the Retail Warehouse, working across receiving, processing, picking and delivery in company vehicles. The role emphasizes world-class guest service and collaboration with the leadership team to ensure efficiency.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 6+ months in retail or warehouse settings, forklift certification, and strong math, judgment, and communication skills to support a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or GED).
• At least six months of related retail experience required. The ideal candidate will have had one (1) year of similar experience working in a warehouse environment.
• Strong math skills a plus.
• Ability to operate a forklift and obtain certification.
• Knowledge of the warehouse, retail, and/or inventory procedures strongly preferred.
• The ability to exercise good judgment and take the initiative where appropriate; should be comfortable with being proactive and troubleshooting where necessary.
• Outstanding attention to detail is a must; ability to work independently on repetitive task; prioritizes work and adapts as needed.
• Solid time management and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to quality and providing great service to internal and external guests.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; must be able to convey information clearly and concisely, and respond to guest service recovery situations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist the leadership team in coordinating day to day operations of the Retail Warehouse.
• Support all areas of the warehouse operation, including, but not limited to, receiving, processing, picking, and delivery of product in company vehicles.
• Prioritize daily workflow and lead the team to completion of daily tasks, ensuring accuracy.
• Provide world-class internal/external guest service.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Communicate effectively with the retail team and other departments.
