Job summary

Dollar Tree in Vermillion, SD is seeking a Customer Service Associate II to support daily store operations and assist customers. You'll help with merchandising and be cross-trained to assist at the cash register and front end duties as needed.

You will contribute to a clean, welcoming environment and provide professional interactions with customers and team members. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, along with retail experience and strong math skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail or service industry experience is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Proficiency in basic math and cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Receive merchandise and unload trucks following safety and productivity standards.
• Merchandise and stock shelves as needed.
• Maintain store cleanliness including restrooms, floors, and trash removal.
• Provide a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Handle sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
