Job summary

Michaels Stores in Indianapolis, IN seeks a proactive Store Lead to coach the framing team and drive custom framing sales. You will partner with the Store Manager to plan workload, manage KPI attainment, and ensure timely delivery of framing projects.

You will lead talent development, interview and onboard new team members, enforce SOPs, and maintain a welcoming, productive environment for customers and staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum experience requires basic computer skills to operate store systems.
• Leadership and coaching abilities to guide a framing team.
• Strong customer service orientation to build relationships and drive sales.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of framers to deliver high quality custom framing solutions.
• Drive custom framing sales and assist customers in creating framing plans.
• Manage store operations, SOP adherence, inventory, shrink and safety programs.
• Act as Manager on Duty (MOD) and participate in recruiting, onboarding and performance mgmt.
