Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking a Retail Food Service Operations Manager at the UC Health Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. This food service operations manager will manage and direct all food retail locations throughout the hospital and will assist with catering. The Retail Operations Manager will be a dynamic team player with a strong background in managing frontline staff and developing teams in any food services environment.

What You'll Do

  1. Manage all retail operations including catering for the hospital
  2. Motivate, coach, mentor and develop frontline staff and supervisors
  3. Interact with customers, hospital staff, and visitors to ensure customer satisfaction
  4. Oversee cash handling processes and POS programming and maintenance
  5. Manage vendor relationships and compliance
  6. Maintain all product merchandising, marketing and ordering standards
  7. Coordinate department safety and sanitation

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Management Experience - 3 years

Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years of experience in retail operations
